Toronto Island Park - Algonquin IslandAddress: 9 QUEENS QUAY W Map It
It is about a 15 minute walk from the Ward's Island ferry dock, and across a small bridge to arrive at Algonquin Island. This island was once called Sunfish Island. Be aware of the nearby homes, on the way to the park, which is found on the west end of the Island. Note that the western portion of Algonquin Island is considered an Environmentally Significant Area. This park is a great place to take in the view or take some photographs of Toronto's skyline, be sure to careful and respect the nature in the park.
