There will be a waitlist for programs that are full. If you cannot attend the program you are registered for, please call us at 416-396-7378 so we can offer the spot to someone else.

Free centres were originally established in 1999 as a way to increase access to programs in neighbourhoods with high levels of low income by eliminating program fees. People still need to register (and “check out” using when logged in to their account) for these programs.

Many community centres offer free recreation drop-in programs including leisure swimming, skating and more for children, youth and older adults.

Welcome Policy is a recreation fee subsidy to help individuals and families who live in Toronto participate in City recreation programs.
