A hoarder is defined as a person who accumulates, collects and stores things and hides them for future use. Compulsive hoarding is the excessive acquisition of possessions even if the items are worthless, hazardous or unsanitary.
If you have a complaint about a suspected hoarder, contact Toronto Health Connection, who will forward your complaint to the appropriate Healthy Environments office for follow-up.
