Notices - Ontario Line:
- April 30, 2025 - Queen Street West and Simcoe Street: Potential traffic delays as early as Thursday, May 1 between 9:00 p.m. to 6:00 a.m. up to 3 days. Temporary lane and sidewalk restrictions are required for crews to safely guide and assist the construction vehicles.
- April 25, 2025 - a temporary overnight closure on the south side of Queen Street West, from Bay Street to Yonge Street. For approximately two months beginning April 28, the south sidewalk will be closed between 10:00 p.m. to 5:00 a.m. to limit impacts to neighbouring buildings and tenants.
- April 15, 2025 - Southbound lanes closure at Queen Street East and Victoria Street. During this work, traffic will be shifted to one lane in each direction (northbound and southbound) on Victoria Street from April 17 up to 6 weeks.
- April 2, 2025: Queen Station sidewalk closure will be extended through June 2025, including weekdays and weekends.
The Ontario Line is a rapid transit line that will connect the Ontario Science Centre to the Exhibition/Ontario Place grounds. It will be approximately 15.5 km in length with 15 stations, including six interchange/intermodal stations, that will connect to the GO train and the TTC services.
The Ontario Line was announced as part of the 2019 Provincial Budget. The project has been identified as the sole responsibility of Metrolinx in the Getting Ontario Moving Act (Bill 107).
