The City of Toronto’s Fire Services will make an announcement tomorrow. Deputy Fire Chief Larry Cocco will talk about a major donation to Project Zero in Toronto, a program that distributes smoke and carbon-monoxide alarms throughout Ontario.

Joining Chief Cocco will be Tracey Teed Martin, Director of Toronto Region Operations for Enbridge Gas Inc., and Debbie Visconti, Executive Director of Centre 55.

Project Zero urges people to install, test and maintain their smoke alarms and carbon- monoxide alarms. For the launch of this campaign in Toronto, Enbridge Gas Inc. will be on site at the fire station tomorrow to donate more than 800 combination smoke and carbon-monoxide alarms. Toronto Fire Services plans to give the alarms to Community Centre 55 to include in its holiday food hampers.
