This evening, the City of Toronto announced the Toronto Sport Hall of Honour Class of 2025, recognizing athletes, coaches, builders and legends who have demonstrated outstanding performance, leadership and sportsmanship.
The announcement took place at the Toronto Pan Am Sports Centre, a legacy of the 2015 Pan Am/Parapan Am Games, where Mayor Olivia Chow, veteran sports broadcaster Scott Russell, Toronto City Councillors and City staff recognized 17 new inductees for representing Toronto and achieving sporting excellence.

Among this year’s inductees are athletes who trained at City facilities such as the Toronto Pan Am Sports Centre, the Etobicoke Olympium, and the Toronto Track and Field Centre which continue to nurture world-class athletes.
The City’s commitment to community and improving facilities, access and pathways to sport excellence through legacy projects continues to be a focus as preparations for the FIFA World Cup 2026™ get underway.
