The City of Toronto will host its first in-person 2026 Budget consultation on Tuesday, October 14, providing an opportunity for Toronto residents to share what matters most to them as the City plans its next Budget.

Mayor Olivia Chow, Councillor Shelley Carroll (Don Valley North), Chair of the Budget Committee, and senior City staff will be in attendance to hear directly from residents.

Time: 6:30 p.m.
Location: St. Lawrence Market North, Market Hall, 92 Front St. E.
Interview opportunity: The Mayor and Budget Chair will be available for interviews at approximately 6:40 p.m., before the consultation begins at 7 p.m.
Media RSVP: Members of the media are asked to RSVP by 4 p.m. on October 14 to media@toronto.ca

This consultation is the first in-person opportunity for the public to participate in the 2026 Budget process. Residents can also complete an online survey, available in 12 languages and attend additional consultations in person or virtually.
