News Release
June 14, 2025

Mayor Olivia Chow was on the pool deck today to mark the early opening of 15 outdoor pools ahead of summer.

This year, the City of Toronto allocated nearly $2 million as part of the 2025 budget to extend pool season and daily operating hours so that some pools can open in mid-June and remain operating into September.
