Tomorrow, Toronto Fire Chief Jim Jessop will welcome the newest group of firefighters and call-takers or dispatchers to the City of Toronto at a graduation ceremony.

Date: Friday, June 6

Time: 1 to 4 p.m.

Location: Toronto Fire and Paramedic Services Training Centre, 895 Eastern Ave.

The graduation ceremony will recognize the successful completion of a comprehensive training program by 105 recruits who will join the Toronto Fire Services (TFS) Operations division and four Telecommunicators joining the Communications division.

TFS is the largest fire service in Canada and the City’s only all hazards emergency response organization. TFS provides Toronto residents, visitors and businesses with a suite of world-class fire protection services that include public education, fire prevention, Ontario Fire Code enforcement and all hazards emergency response.
