Tomorrow, City Manager Paul Johnson will share some impacts of a potential work stoppage involving members of Canadian Union of Public Employees (CUPE) Local 79, as well as an update on collective bargaining efforts.

On Wednesday, February 19, the City received a “No-Board” Report from the Ontario Ministry of Labour, Immigration, Training & Skills Development. The “No-Board” Report means that the union will be in a legal strike position and the City in a legal lockout position at 12:01 a.m., or one minute past midnight, on Saturday, March 8.
