Tomorrow, Mayor Olivia Chow, Deputy Mayor Jennifer McKelvie (Scarborough-Rouge Park), Councillor Shelley Carroll (Don Valley North) and Jim Jessop, Fire Chief and General Manager, Toronto Fire Services, will unveil the first two electric pumper trucks to join the Toronto Fire Services fleet.

The electric pumper trucks represent the latest in green, energy-efficient technology for frontline emergency response. Having low to zero carbon emissions, these new additions to the Toronto Fire Services fleet will further support the Sustainable City of Toronto Fleets Plan.
