Starting today, eligible voters in the upcoming by-election for Councillor, Ward 25, Scarborough-Rouge Park can add, update or confirm their information on the voters’ list and apply to vote by mail.
To check or update information on the voters’ list, residents can visit the MyVote webpage or call 311.
Voters must add their name to the list or update their name and address by 7 p.m. on Sunday, September 21 for it to appear on the printed voters’ list used in voting places on election day.
If their name is not already on the voters’ list, an eligible voter with acceptable identification can add their name to the voters’ list when they go to vote in person during:
Voter Information Cards
Starting Thursday, September 11, Voter Information Cards will be mailed to eligible voters who are on the voters’ list by Thursday, September 4.
A Voter Information Card provides information about when and where to vote during advance voting or on election day. Voters do not need a Voter Information Card to vote and it is not an acceptable form of identification for voting purposes.
Digital Voter Information Cards are available at the MyVote webpage. Voters can print their Voter Information Card or download and show it on a mobile device when they go to vote in person.

Vote by mail
Starting today, eligible voters can apply to vote by mail in the Ward 25, Scarborough-Rouge Park by-election by visiting the Toronto Elections webpage.
Applicants can track the status of their Mail-in Voting package using the confirmation code received by email after completing the online application. Mail-in Voting packages will be sent starting Monday, September 8.
Completed Mail-in Voting packages must be received by Toronto Elections by noon on Tuesday, September 23. Completed packages can be mailed to Toronto Elections using the postage paid and addressed envelope included in the Mail-in Voting package or hand-delivered to one of two secure Mail-in Voting drop boxes between Monday, September 15 and Tuesday, September 23 at noon.
