News Release
July 7, 2023

Summerlicious 2023 returns today until Sunday, July 23, with delicious prix fixe lunch and dinner menus at more than 200 local restaurants. Three-course prix fixe menus are priced between $20 to $55 for lunch and $25 to $75 for dinner.

Councillor Shelley Carroll (Don Valley North), Chair of the Economic and Community Development Committee, was joined by Councillor Chris Moise (Toronto Centre) and Chef Adam Lafleur at the new Summerlicious participating restaurant Constantine at 15 Charles St. E. to kick off Toronto’s favourite summer foodie event.

This year, the Summerlicious webpage can be filtered by Summerlicious prix fixe menus to find gluten-free options. Among the participating restaurants in Summerlicious 2023, 35 per cent are offering three-course gluten-free meals as part of their prix fixe menus.

More than 70 per cent of the participating restaurants are providing three-course vegetarian meals, while nearly 20 per cent are featuring three-course vegan options as part of their Summerlicious prix fixe menus.

First-time participants in Summerlicious include Byblos Uptown, Constantine, Dasha, Le Select Bistro, Mayrik, Pink Sky, Skylight, The Cottage Cheese, The Haam and The Miller Tavern Downtown. A complete list of participating restaurants is available on the City of Toronto’s Summerlicious webpage.

Reservations are strongly recommended and can be made directly with the participating dining establishments. Some participating restaurants do not offer a lunch prix fixe menu on Saturday or Sunday. People with reservations should call and cancel if they are unable to make their reservation.

Summerlicious has partnered with blogTO to host the official photo contest for the program. Restaurant patrons can participate by tagging photos on Instagram with #blogTOlicious. The deadline for submissions is July 23 at 11:59 p.m. More information is available on the blogTO website.

This year’s Summerlicious program continues to support the recovery and revival of Toronto’s restaurants while providing the enticing experiences and delectable food that restaurant-goers have come to expect from the popular Summerlicious program.

The City is grateful for the support of media partners CP24, NEWSTALK 1010 and the Toronto Star.
