Media Advisory – Mayor Tory to tour the NHL’s Black hockey history mobile museum

Mayor John Tory will be joined by Councillor Jennifer McKelvie (Ward 25 Scarborough-Rouge Park) tomorrow on a tour of the National Hockey League (NHL) Black Hockey History mobile museum, which is making its first appearance in Toronto. The tour will be led by museum co-curator Kwame Mason.

Date: Friday, February 7
Time: 9 to 9:30 a.m.
Location: Malvern Community Centre, east entrance parking lot (30 Sewells Rd.)

The free museum is in Toronto from February 6 to 8 as part of the City’s Black History Month activities. It celebrates the NHL and Black History Month by featuring today’s stars while looking back at the trailblazers who made history.
