City of Toronto staff will be available to provide media with an overview of the flooding that occurred yesterday afternoon on Toronto Island Park, and the work that City crews are doing to pump water and repair shoreline breaches.

Location: Meet just beyond the Ward’s Island Ferry Dock, on island side

Non-essential vehicles are not permitted on the island for the next 72 hours. Media can take the Ward’s Island ferry from the city. The ferry departs every 30 minutes at 9:45 and 10:45 a.m. Water taxis are also available.
