Tomorrow, Deputy Mayor Jennifer McKelvie (Scarborough-Rouge Park) and Toronto Fire Services Fire Chief Matthew Pegg will host a media event to launch a new smoke alarm public awareness campaign aiming to alert residents of the dangers of not having a working smoke alarm on every floor of the home and outside all sleeping areas.
The Deputy Mayor and Fire Chief will be joined by Councillor Ausma Malik (Spadina-Fort York).
