Members of the media may attend and observe while the Mayor and City councillors for the 2018-22 term of office assemble for the City’s official portrait photograph of City Council before the start of Thursday’s Council meeting.

Date: Thursday, December 13
Times:
8:25 to 8:40 a.m. – media will be able to take any of the main East Tower elevators to “3C” level for security screening there (the Council Chamber level) before proceeding to the inner elevator and proceeding up to the Members’ Lounge for the Council portrait session
8:45 a.m. – Council sitting for official portrait by the City’s photographer
Location: Members’ Lounge, Toronto City Hall, 100 Queen St. W.

Members of the media who attend are asked to avoid interfering with the portrait sitting. Specifically, interviews/scrums and flash photography or video camera lighting will not be allowed while the City’s photographer is taking the official portrait. Access by members of the media will be allowed after the City’s official photo shoot if time permits before members of Council move to the Council Chamber for the scheduled 9:30 a.m. Council meeting.
