Mayor John Tory and City of Toronto officials will launch Clean Toronto Together, the City’s annual spring cleanup, outside City Hall tomorrow afternoon.

Location: Nathan Phillips Square, City Hall, 100 Queen St. W.
City equipment, including a parks litter collection truck and a litter vacuum (known as a “litter vac”) will be displayed, and the Sidewalk Crusaders band will perform.
The Clean Toronto Together campaign invites residents, schools and businesses to participate in the City’s annual spring cleanup. Tomorrow’s announcement will include details of the corporate and school cleanups on April 26, the community cleanup days on April 27 and 28, and the City’s cleanup by members of the Toronto Public Service across the city.
Sponsors include Glad Canada (lead sponsor), Pizza Pizza, Tim Hortons, Toronto Star, Global News, Global News Radio, Star Metroland Media, Star Metro Toronto. Partners include Park People, Great Canadian Shoreline Cleanup, Toronto District School Board, Toronto Catholic District School Board and Bag2School.
