This weekend, thousands of Toronto residents will receive first, second and third doses of COVID-19 vaccine, joining the millions of Torontonians who have already been vaccinated against the virus and its variants.
Today and tomorrow, residents are invited to book an appointment or walk in to Scarborough Health Network’s Family Rollcall Vax Weekend happening at three locations across Scarborough from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. Clinics are open to all eligible individuals regardless of postal code. Team Toronto’s continuing vaccination efforts have now resulted in more than 90 per cent of eligible Toronto residents age 12 and older having received at least one dose of COVID-19 vaccine. Since the threat of the highly-transmissible Omicron variant first arrived, more than 1.3 million people in Toronto have rolled up their sleeves to receive a third dose and added layer of protection against COVID-19.

Toronto Public Health urges those eligible to receive a third dose of vaccine to get vaccinated as soon as they are eligible. Any residents who have not yet received their first or second dose of COVID-19 vaccine are also encouraged to do so as soon as possible. COVID-19 vaccines lower the risk of serious illness, hospitalization and death, while protecting oneself, loved ones and the community.
Today, Team Toronto partners will administer thousands of vaccines at City-run clinics, hospital partner clinics, more than 525 local pharmacies and doctors’ offices, including the following clinic locations:
City-run immunization clinics
The five City-run immunization clinics continue to add new appointments for first, second and third doses of COVID-19 vaccine. To book an appointment, click the blue “Book a Vaccine” button on toronto.ca/covid-19 or call 1-833-943-3900. City-run clinics are easily accessible by transit and offer free parking on site. Clinic staff are also able to provide resources in multiple languages. A person with a vaccination appointment can also bring a support person to help with translation.
City-run clinics and Team Toronto partners will now offer both Pfizer and Moderna vaccines to eligible residents receiving a first, second or third dose. Supply may vary between clinics and individuals attending for vaccination cannot be guaranteed a choice between brands of vaccine. Both Pfizer and Moderna brands are mRNA vaccines and have been scientifically proven to protect from serious consequences linked to COVID-19. Residents should also continue to follow public health measures such as mask wearing, good hand hygiene and physical distancing.
