Team Toronto COVID-19 vaccination update 

The City of Toronto is working non-stop with its healthcare partners, pharmacies and Toronto Public Health to administer all available COVID-19 vaccines. To date, 2,185,705 COVID-19 vaccine doses have been administered in Toronto.

As of yesterday evening, approximately 751,115 people have booked COVID-19 vaccination appointments at a City-run clinic. Everyone age 12 years or older is encouraged to book an appointment by clicking the blue “Book a Vaccine” button at the City’s COVID-19 webpage or through phone by calling the Provincial Vaccine Booking Line at 1-833-943-3900. The Team Toronto effort is focused on getting as many residents vaccinated as quickly as possible based on available supply. It is also expanding mobile vaccination efforts across Toronto to bring vaccine to the neighbourhoods most in need.

The City and healthcare partners are working to operate a total of approximately 18 clinics today, including mobile teams, on-site and pop-up clinics, to vaccinate priority groups identified by the Province of Ontario’s priority framework.

City of Toronto immunization clinics

• Today, will hold nine City-operated immunization clinics: Metro Toronto Convention Centre, Toronto Congress Centre, Scarborough Town Centre, Malvern Community Recreation Centre, Mitchell Field Arena, The Hangar, Cloverdale Mall, North Toronto Memorial Community Centre and Carmine Stefano Community Centre.
• Will vaccinate up to 8,114 eligible residents.

Unity Health Toronto, Downtown East Toronto OHT and West Toronto OHT

• Yesterday, held three on-site clinics and two pop-up clinics.
• Vaccinated 1,470 people who are priority hospital and community-based healthcare workers, homebound adults, members of the Indigenous community, people who are 12 years of age and older, and healthcare workers and people who are 80 years and older receiving first and second doses.
• Today, will hold two on-site clinics and four pop-up clinics.
• Will vaccinate 2,471 people belonging to the same groups.

• Yesterday, held two mobile clinics.
• Vaccinated 206 people who are homebound, individuals living in shelters and encampments.
• Today, will hold one mobile clinic.
• Will vaccinate 66 people who are homebound.

• Yesterday, held one mobile clinic.
• Vaccinated 1,375 people who are 80 years and older receiving first and second doses.
• Today, will hold one mobile clinic.
• Will vaccinate 1,900 people belonging to the same group, as well as healthcare workers.

• Yesterday, held one pop-up clinic.
• Vaccinated 1,400 people who are age 12 years and older, health care workers and people who are 80 years and older receiving first and second doses.
• Today, will hold one pop-up
• Will vaccinate 1,400 people belonging to the same groups.

Participating pharmacies in Toronto

• Toronto Public Health can confirm that as of yesterday morning, 278,588 people aged 12 and older received their COVID-19 vaccine at participating pharmacies in Toronto since the provincial pilot began.
• An update on the number of vaccinations in Toronto pharmacies will be provided on Tuesdays and Fridays as information is made available twice a week.
