The City continues to work non-stop with its healthcare partners, pharmacies and Toronto Public Health to administer all available COVID-19 vaccines. To date, 4,053,453 COVID-19 vaccine doses have been administered in Toronto as part of the broader Team Toronto initiative.

Number of clinics across Toronto today: 34

Walk-in vaccinations will be available daily from noon to 7 p.m. for anyone age 18 or older to receive a first or second dose mRNA vaccine at four City-run clinics: Toronto Congress Centre, Cloverdale Mall, The Hangar and Metro Toronto Convention Centre clinics. Vaccinations at these City-run clinics – Scarborough Town Centre, Malvern Community Recreation Centre, Mitchell Field Arena, North Toronto Memorial Community Centre and Carmine Stefano Community Centre continue to be by appointment only.

Everyone age 12 years or older is encouraged to book their vaccination appointment as soon as possible. Second dose appointments can be booked by anyone, including youth ages 12 to 17, who received a first Pfizer or Moderna vaccine at least 28 days ago or a first AstraZeneca vaccine at least eight weeks ago. To book an appointment, click the blue “Book a Vaccine” button at toronto.ca/covid-19 or call the Provincial Vaccine Booking Line at 1-833-943-3900.

There are vaccination appointments available for the remainder of this week. Anyone who has an appointment for later this summer or fall is encouraged to change it to an earlier date and get vaccinated sooner. Appointments at City-run clinics can be cancelled or changed on the provincial Manage Your Appointment(s) webpage or by calling the provincial booking line.

The Team Toronto effort is focused on getting as many residents vaccinated as quickly as possible based on available supply. It is also expanding mobile vaccination efforts across Toronto to bring vaccines to the neighbourhoods most in need.

Over the weekend, Team Toronto Mobile Sprint Strategy partners will vaccinate eligible people at the following pop-up clinics:

Saturday, July 17

  • Downsview Arena – People age 12 years or older who live/work in any “M” postal code.
  • Eastview Neighbourhood Community Centre – First and second doses for individuals 12 years of age or older who live/work/attend school in any “M” postal code.
  • No Frills – First and second doses for individuals 12 years of age or older who live/work/attend school in any “M” postal code.
  • Prairie Drive Park – First and second doses for individuals 12 years of age or older who live/work/attend school in any “M” postal code.

Sunday, July 18

  • Downsview Arena – People age 12 years or older who live/work in any “M” postal code.
  • Thorncliffe Park Community Hub – First and second doses for individuals 12 years of age or older who live/work/attend school in any “M” postal code.
  • Prairie Drive Park First and second doses for individuals 12 years of age or older who live/work/attend school in any “M” postal code.
  • Shoppers World Danforth – First and second doses for individuals 12 years of age or older who live/work/attend school in any “M” postal code.

The City and healthcare partners are working to operate a total of approximately 34 clinics this weekend, including mobile teams, on-site and pop-up clinics, to vaccinate priority groups identified by the Province of Ontario’s priority framework.

  • Over the weekend, will vaccinate up to 22,521 eligible residents across nine City-operated immunization clinics: Metro Toronto Convention Centre, Toronto Congress Centre, Scarborough Town Centre, Malvern Community Recreation Centre, Mitchell Field Arena, The Hangar, Cloverdale Mall, North Toronto Memorial Community Centre and Carmine Stefano Community Centre.

Unity Health Toronto, Downtown East Toronto OHT and West Toronto OHT 

  • Over the weekend, will hold two on-site clinics and four pop-up clinics.
