On Thursday, April 21, Toronto Elections will host a virtual information session on becoming a candidate in this year’s municipal election for those interested in running for the offices of Mayor, Councillor or School Board Trustee.

Toronto Elections will host two identical virtual information sessions on becoming a candidate in the City’s municipal election, including an introduction to the new appointment booking system for candidate nominations. Staff will be available to answer questions from participants.
More information about the sessions is available on the City’s Candidate Information webpage. No registration is required.
Accommodation requests can be made up to 72 hours in advance of the sessions by emailing Toronto Elections: candidateinfo@toronto.ca.
A new appointment booking system will launch soon for people to reserve a timeslot to file nominations at the Toronto Elections City Hall office. Prospective candidates are encouraged to book an appointment to file their nomination, which will ensure quick service, minimize wait times and reduce crowding.
