The City of Toronto will hold a ceremony on Sunday, June 12 to honour the addition of 21 fallen firefighters’ names to the Memorial Honour Roll. The service will include remarks and the laying of wreaths by Mayor John Tory, Fire Chief Matthew Pegg, members of Toronto Fire Services, representatives of the Toronto Professional Fire Fighters Association and representatives of the Canadian Fallen Firefighters Foundation.

Toronto firefighters, along with their families and friends gather annually for the ceremony of remembrance. Since 1848, a total of 319 firefighters have died in the line of duty while protecting lives, property and the environment in Toronto.
The names of these 21 Toronto Firefighters (with dates of death) will be added to the Memorial Honour Roll:
