An ambulance full of food and cash donations will be delivered to the Daily Bread Food Bank on Monday, March 11. Toronto Paramedic Services and Daily Bread Food Bank volunteers will collect food and cash donations while marching in the St. Patrick’s Day Parade on Sunday, March 10.  

The media are invited to photograph the food donations as they are weighed at the Daily Bread Food Bank’s food delivery depot.

This is the sixth year that Toronto Paramedic Services and the St. Patrick’s Day Parade Society have partnered to raise funds and collect non-perishable food donations for Toronto’s Daily Bread Food Bank as part of the annual St. Patrick’s Day parade activities. The 2019 goal is to raise more than the 2018 total of 525 pounds of food and $7,987 in cash donations. Over the last five years, 4,860 pounds of food and $25,516.00 has been raised for this cause.
