Toronto Paramedic Services to host Citizenship Ceremony

Toronto Paramedic Services (TPS) Chief Gord McEachen will host a Citizenship Ceremony at TPS headquarters for 50 recipients who will be granted Canadian citizenship by Judge Albert Wong, the Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada’s judicial representative.

Date: Thursday, May 30, 2019
Time: 10:30 a.m.
Location: 4330 Dufferin St.
(Note: there is no driveway/entrance to the location off Dufferin Street. Parking and entrance to headquarters is located off Lodestar Road, on the west side of the building.)

This is the fifth time Toronto Paramedic Services has hosted this event as part of Paramedic Services Week. This event provides an opportunity for these residents not only to receive their citizenship but to also learn how to access emergency medical services in over 240 languages.  This service is provided by the City of Toronto’s emergency services and is a significant benefit to those who don’t speak English as their first language.
