In recognition of the first-ever World Food Safety Day adopted by the United Nations General Assembly, Toronto Public Health (TPH) invites members of the media to see TPH’s food safety team in action during an inspection of a food truck.

As part of the TPH’s DineSafe program, health inspectors work in partnership with food premise owners and operators so that residents and visitors can be confident that their food has been prepared and served in a safe, healthy environment.

Date: Friday, June 7
Times:
9 a.m. Opening remarks by Dr. Howard Shapiro, Associate Medical Officer of Health and Director of Healthy Environments
9:15 a.m. Inspection walk-through
