Team Toronto’s Vax And Ride campaign, which brings 76 COVID-19 vaccine clinics to TTC stations across the city, is continuing today in nine TTC stations.
Vax And Ride clinics are open today from noon to 7 p.m. at the following TTC stations:
The clinics are continuing today until April 3, and from April 7 to 10. A new Union Station one-day clinic will take place on Monday, April 4 from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. Over a two-week span, a total of 76 clinics will take place in 11 stations across Toronto. A full list of clinic locations and hours can be found on the City of Toronto’s COVID-19: Pop-Up Immunization Clinics.
The clinics operate on a walk-in basis. TTC fare payment is not required. A health card is not required for vaccination. Clinics offer first, second, third and paediatric COVID-19 vaccines, and both Pfizer and Moderna vaccines are available.
The Vax And Ride campaign is part of Team Toronto’s continued equity-focused, hyper-local mobile strategy to make COVID-19 vaccines as accessible and convenient as possible and to facilitate easy access in places that are part of Torontonians’ everyday lives as they travel and commute across the city.
The Vax And Ride clinics are the latest in a series of vaccination efforts held in partnership with the TTC. Since last year, the TTC has hosted 80 pop-up vaccination clinics.
Quote:
“Our Vax and Ride COVID-19 vaccination clinics are going non-stop to help residents get vaccinated as easily as possible. Nine clinics are open today at TTC stations across Toronto to help people who need their first, second or third vaccine dose. Thank you to everyone working on this Team Toronto effort, including the TTC – a strong partner in this world-leading vaccination effort. If you’re not vaccinated yet, please get vaccinated to help protect the progress we are making reopening. If you still need your third dose, please visit a Vax and Ride clinic near you and get the best protection possible against COVID-19.”
