MyToronto Pay

MyToronto Pay is an easy and secure service that has been used to make over 700,000 payments to date. MyToronto Pay, is a collaboration between the City of Toronto and PayIt. Property tax and utility bill payments can be made by electronic funds transfer with no convenience fee, or by credit card or debit card with convenience fees charged by industry. Unlike paying through your financial institution, MyToronto Pay provides additional features like eBilling and pre-authorized payment for your utility bill.

Pay Through Your Bank or Financial Institution

Step 1. Locate Account Information

For property tax payments you will need your property tax roll number and for utility bill payments you will need your account number and client number.

Step 2. Set up the City of Toronto as a Payee

To make a payment to your tax or utility account through online banking you must set up the City of Toronto as a payee. If you need assistance contact your bank or financial institution directly. For your convenience, the following banking websites and payee listing are provided below:
