Three one one features

Three one one is an easy to remember telephone number to access city information and non-emergency services on a twenty-four hour basis.
Making a service request online is as easy as three simple steps: pick a service, fill out the form, and submit the request.
Track your request, either online or over the phone, by entering your reference number to display the request status.
Ask questions and get answers by calling three one one, submitting an email to 311@toronto.ca, or contacting us on twitter.

Loose litter

Report loose litter on a sidewalk or boulevard to be picked up by the City.

Road - surface cleaning

Request clean-up of spilled construction material, dirt, or mud on a City road (not litter). If this represents a significant safety risk, please call 311.

Catch basin - surface cleaning

Request clean-up of a catch basin (surface covered with leaves or other material) on a City road or boulevard. If this represents a significant safety risk, please call 311.

Report damage to your City-issued Garbage or Recycling Bin and have it repaired by the City.

Garbage and recycling collection calendar

Have a garbage and recycling collection calendar mailed to your residence. For commercial and multi-residential collection calendars, please call 311.

Garbage Bin - new

Order a City-issued Garbage Bin if you do not have one at your new residence. Your name must appear on the City utility bill.

Order an additional City-issued Garbage Bin. Your name must appear on the City utility bill.

Exchange your City-issued Garbage Bin for one of a different size. Your name must appear on the City utility bill.

Business licence and permit renewal

Pay to renew your City of Toronto business licence or permit.

Parking tickets

Pay your City of Toronto parking tickets by credit card.

Provincial Offences Act and other tickets

Pay fines relating to the POA, including by-law and traffic violations, red light camera tickets, notices, and GO Transit parking tickets.

Pet licences

Apply and pay to license your pet. The City's Municipal Code requires that all dogs and cats owned in Toronto be licensed.

A-Frame sign permits

Apply for an A-Frame sign permit for your business. The City's Municipal Code requires a permit for A-Frame signs in Toronto.

Recreation programs

Search and register for courses and activities run by Toronto Parks & Recreation.

Library services

Search the catalogue and put books on hold. Log in with your Toronto Public Library card to renew items and more.

Bicycle registration

Add your bicycle to the Toronto Police Services Bike Registry Database, to assist in recovery in case of theft.

Social assistance (Ontario Works)

Apply for benefits under the Ontario Works program. The WAYS system can also estimate your eligibility for social assistance.

Enterprise Toronto - Participate in online forums, search the directory and more.

Filming permits

Submit a location filming application to the Toronto Film & Television Office (TFTO) if you are planning to film in Toronto.

Lobbying activity

Use the Lobbyist Registry to record communication with City public office holders for lobbying purposes, as the City's by-law requires.

Food handler certification

Register for Toronto Public Health's food handler courses and exams.

Toronto greeter program

Volunteer as a greeter or book a visit with "TAP into TO!" - Toronto's greeter program.
