RESCU traffic cameras

What is RESCU?
RESCU is a traffic management system used to detect disruptions to traffic flow along the Don Valley Parkway, Gardiner Expressway and Lake Shore Boulevard. Once a disruption is detected, RESCU operators notify the appropriate emergency service providers as well as road users of any necessary actions. The system is comprised of 73 traffic cameras, 935 vehicle sensors and 6 overhead changeable message signs. RESCU is operated by the City of Toronto's Transportation Services division and has been in place since January 1994. Learn more...
