Notice:

  • Orphan's Green off-leash area will be closed on Monday November 25 and Tuesday November 26 from 6:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
  • Sherwood Park: Dog off-leash park closure
    Part of Sherwood Park dog off-leash area (upper loop) will be closed starting Thursday, November 14 at 6:30 a.m. for repairs and is expected to reopen on Friday, November 15 at 5:00 p.m.

 

If you have a concern about an off-leash area in a City of Toronto Park, please contact 311 to be referred to the park supervisor.

The City of Toronto provides over 60 off-leash parks. visit the City of Toronto's website to determine what park locations provide the following::

  • off-leash areas
  • parks that allow commercial dog walkers
  • what parks have fenced-in parks areas
  • what parks contain a small dog area for dogs weighing a maximum 20 lbs, and a maximum height of 12 inches at the shoulders.

 

Dog owners interested in establishing an off-leash area in a City-owned park, green space, waterfront area or alternative site must establish a local dog-owner association.
