Annual Oversized & Metal Item Fee: this will appear on the Utility Bill regardless of whether an oversized or metal item is placed out for collection or not. Please visit the City of Toronto website for information on Garbage Bin Sizes & Fees.
Residential Bag-Only Customers: Bag-only rates are only available to locations with special approval from the City. The bin program is otherwise mandatory for curbside customers. Bag-only customers are required to use Garbage Tags for each bag they set out.
Note: if there is a discrepancy between what your utility bill shows, and the garbage bins that you actually have, contact 311 to submit a service request for a bin investigation. The Bin Investigation Team will conduct a site visit to determine what bins you have and make recommendations for the adjustment to your bill if required.
