As part of City Council’s requirement for Suppliers to have an Anti-Harassment/Discrimination Policy, the City also encourages bidders in the Construction Industry to sign on to the Declaration of Inclusive Workplaces & Communities, which can be found at: www.constructiondeclaration.ca. The purpose of this declaration is for developers, contractors, workers and unions to highlight their support for the rights and dignity of all, in order to promote inclusive, equitable, safe and respectful workplaces and communities.
If you would like to sign onto the declaration, please contact info@constructiondeclaration.ca to have your organization’s name and logo included on the web-site and in future printed versions of the document. Please note that the Construction Declaration and its website is not administered by the Fair Wage Office, please direct all questions with respect to the Construction Declaration to info@constructiondeclaration.ca.
