2025 By-Election: Councillor Ward 25, Scarborough-Rouge Park

Learn how to become a candidate for the office of Councillor Ward 25, Scarborough-Rouge Park. Nominations open Monday, June 23 at 8:30 a.m.

 

The following dates have been announced for the Ward 25, Scarborough-Rouge Park by-election:

  • Nominations will open Monday, June 23 at 8:30 a.m.
  • Nominations will close Friday, August 15 at 2 p.m.
  • Advance voting will be available on Saturday, September 20 and Sunday, September 21 from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m.
  • Election day will be held on Monday, September 29 with voting places open from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m.

To meet voting place staffing needs, election officials who previously worked in Ward 25 will be contacted and asked to work in the same position on September 29. Details will be sent to past Ward 25 staff via email in August. As there are a very limited number of positions available, Toronto Elections is not accepting new applications to work the Ward 25, Scarborough-Rouge Park by-election.
