2018 Municipal Election – View Subsequent Financial Statements

Candidates that paid a campaign surplus to the City Clerk when initially filing their financial statement(s)—but who later incur expenses relating to a compliance audit—can request that their surplus be returned to spend on audit-related costs.

Candidates who do so are required to file a subsequent financial statement to report on their expenses for every 90 day period until the surplus amount is gone or they are no longer incurring audit expenses.

Because the City’s digital financial disclosure system is currently undergoing maintenance, the financial statements relating to the 2018 municipal election filed after October 1, 2020 are listed below. All financial statements filed before October 1, 2020 can be found at by accessing the Search Campaign Finances application.

The Municipal Elections Act, 1996 requires the City Clerk to provide a copy of the financial statement. The financial statements are scanned and therefore are not accessible to screen readers, however we will provide the information in an alternate format upon request.
