The City is making state of good repair improvements to the arena and recreation facilities at Agincourt Community Recreation Centre. The repairs will include upgrades to the mechanical systems, the arena slab, roof, as well as pool and accessibility improvements. The project team is gathering feedback from the community on potential improvements to the existing recreation centre and arena facilities, including common areas, pool change rooms, arena change rooms and multipurpose rooms, and more.

This project has been classified as a Consult project based on the International Association for Public Participation's Spectrum. This means we obtain public feedback on existing analysis, alternatives and/or proposals for potential improvements to the existing arena facilities to help inform the development of the final design.
In this phase, the project team will engage the community to help establish a vision for an improved and modernized community recreation centre. This will be done through an online interactive thought exchange activity, and the feedback gathered will be used to develop design options.
The anticipated outcome of this phase is a draft vision for the community recreation centre improvements.
In this phase, the project team will build on the outcomes from Community Engagement Phase 1 to develop two or three design options for the community recreation centre improvements. These options will be presented to the community for feedback, which will inform the development of a preferred design.
