The City is adding a new skate trail and rink to Ron Watson Park as part of the Parks and Recreation Facilities Plan. The design will be shaped through community engagement and will include seating, lighting, accessible pathways, and a new clubhouse with washrooms, a change room and a room for an electric Zamboni.

This project has been classified as a Consult project based on the International Association of Public Participation Spectrum. This means we collect and consider public feedback on proposed design options to inform the development of a final skate trail and rink design.
