As part of the City’s COVID-19 response, all in-person breastfeeding groups closed until further notice. Stay up-to-date on all affected City services and when they may resume by visiting

Breastfeeding groups provide a relaxed place for new and expecting parents to talk, share and encourage each other through their breastfeeding journey.

The groups provide an opportunity to:

  • meet new friends
  • learn more about breastfeeding
  • share breastfeeding knowledge and experiences
  • learn from each other

The free breastfeeding groups are open to all pregnant and breastfeeding families. Health professionals and peers with breastfeeding expertise are also available to answer questions and provide support and education.
