Are you interested in a rewarding career as an Early Childhood Educator? The City of Toronto has partnered with other municipalities as well as the federal and provincial governments to fund Early Childhood Education (ECE) programs at participating colleges. Some programs have also been reduced from two-year to one-year programs to help you get a job in the field faster.

Considering a career in the in-demand child care field as an Early Childhood Educator (ECE)? There are many jobs available in this field across the city. It is becoming easier than ever to get the education you need to get started in this rewarding career.
A new program will help you become an ECE in one year (compared to two years) and will help pay your tuition costs. Colleges that are offering this program beginning in July and/or September will be listed here as their program information becomes available.
This opportunity is funded in partnership with the City of Toronto, The Region of Peel, The Region of Durham, The Region of Halton, the Province of Ontario and Government of Canada under the new Canada-Ontario Early Childhood Workforce Agreement, which provides one-time federal funding to support the retention and recruitment of a high-quality child care and early years workforce.
