The City of Toronto offers training resources for housing providers. Registration information for courses can be found below. Online demos and modules can be accessed directly through the links below.
The current Ontario Non-Profit Housing Association’s (ONPHA), “Toronto -The Simplified World of RGI Administration Course,” running from October 14 to December 9, 2025 is sold out. The next course will begin in January 2026. Participants can complete the online course at their own pace over the eight-week period. It requires approximately 20 hours of total study time.
This course provides participants with an overview of RGI simplification and the City of Toronto’s local rules and guidelines. Successful completion of this course is mandatory for all new RGI administrators in the City of Toronto, regardless of whether new administrators have completed any previous training on RGI simplification.

The Housing Secretariat provides systems access and online training to housing providers who use RentCafe and the Housing Administration Provider Portal Toronto (HAPPTO)/Voyager. Anyone using or accessing either system is required to complete the relevant training.
