Recent changes to the Housing Services Act, 2011, aimed at modernizing the administration of the RGI program, are being implemented by the City of Toronto on July 1, 2021. These changes should make the program simpler and faster for housing providers to administer and easier for tenants to predict and understand.
This training provides an overview of legislative and process changes required to implement RGI Simplification, beginning July 1, 2021. All persons responsible for RGI administration in the City of Toronto (RGI administrators) are required to complete this training.
