To apply for a CST opportunity, community organizations will need to attend a mandatory information session for the desired space and complete a Request for Expression of Interest (REOI) application.
Applications are now open for a new Community Space at 300-304 The East Mall in the Eatonville-Bloorlea area. The Space will be ready for occupancy in approximately Q4 2026 (October to December). The City is seeking eligible organizations interested in entering a below-market lease agreement under the Community Space Tenancy Policy.
The tenant selected for the new Community Space will occupy the newly built space located on the ground floor of a residential development.
Annual tenant costs for the space will be $2 per year, with an additional $20 to $30 per square foot for utilities and common area maintenance. Current tenant fit-up project cost estimates are $210 to $260 per square foot.

The Space will be ready for occupancy in approximately Q1 2027 (January to March). The City is seeking eligible organizations interested in entering a below-market lease agreement under the Community Space Tenancy Policy.
The tenant selected for the new Community Space will occupy the newly built space located on the second floor of a residential development, with dedicated elevator access from the ground floor.
Annual tenant costs for the space will be $2 per year, with an additional $20 to $30 per square foot for utilities and common area maintenance. Current tenant fit-up project cost estimates are $210 to $260 per square foot. Note that limited funding is available from the City to offset additional rental costs and leasehold improvements in the Community Space.
