Applications are now open for a new Community Space at 300-304 The East Mall in the Eatonville-Bloorlea area. The Space will be ready for occupancy in approximately Q4 2026 (October to December). The City is seeking eligible organizations interested in entering a below-market lease agreement under the Community Space Tenancy Policy.

The tenant selected for the new Community Space will occupy the newly built space located on the ground floor of a residential development.

Annual tenant costs for the space will be $2 per year, with an additional $20 to $30 per square foot for utilities and common area maintenance. Current tenant fit-up project cost estimates are $210 to $260 per square foot.

  • 5,365 square feet available for Community Partner tenant;
  • Located on the ground floor with dedicated street-level entrance;
  • Three private washrooms, including a universal, men’s and women’s washroom;
  • Dedicated meeting rooms, storage space, administration room, and kitchenette;
  • Two parking spaces.
