As part of our ongoing response to COVID-19, the City has implemented an online portal for the electronic submission and exchange of forms with funeral service providers.

The Office of the Registrar General for the Province of Ontario has temporarily authorized the electronic transfer of documents for the purposes of burial permit issuance to support physical distancing and help slow the rate of COVID-19 infection.

The City’s Online Burial Permit Portal provides funeral service providers with a secure means of providing the Deputy Registrar with the necessary forms for the electronic issuance of a burial permit.
