The following health services are suspended:
- All services provided by Vulnerable Adults and Seniors(VAS) team
- Child development screening events
- Universal post-partum calls to new parents or caregivers
- Healthiest Babies Possible Program
- Dental outreach programs
- Some sexual health clinics (Talk Shop, Jane Street)
- Community health promotion program (e.g., education and health promotion programs in community agencies), including acceptance of referrals or requests for these services
- Some breastfeeding clinics are closed. Visit the breastfeeding clinics link for details
- ChemTRAC: businesses are still encouraged to submit their annual reports for the 2019 reporting year. Reports will be accepted after the reporting deadline of June 30.
- Special event food safety review and monitoring, Food Handler Certification Program registration, training and certification, and consumer food safety education programs
- Water sampling kit pick-up and drop-off for lead or well water.
- Complaint response to smoking or vaping in any location, including:
- bars
- restaurants
- public squares
- apartments and condominiums
- Receiving of bed bug and other insects, such as ticks for identification and submission
- Tick surveillance, which includes ticks submitted by the public for identification and tick dragging where staff look for ticks in parks/ravines
- Issuing of Municipal Clearance Letters for special event food safety review and monitoring, and training and public education programs
- Routine inspections of pools and spas
- Routine inspections of personal services settings
- Provision of scientific and technical environmental reviews such as demolition permits, air and water quality
- Processing property purchase requests for inspecting commercial properties, conducting file searches and issuing reports.
