Explore Toronto’s Buildings
May 26 – 27, 2018

One weekend every year Doors Open Toronto provides an opportunity to explore some of the most architecturally, historically, culturally and socially significant buildings across the city, many of which are not usually open to the public.

The event also features walking tours, a speaker series, music series and other special programs. All activities are free, but some require advance registration.

For 2018 Doors Open Toronto will shine the spotlight on the city’s film and television industry. Visit historic cinemas, film and television studios, post-production houses, digital media studios, artist-run centres as well as buildings that have been featured in film and television.

With more than 1,400 on-location film, television and digital media productions taking place in the city each year, Toronto is North America’s third largest screen-based production centre and the heart of Canada’s film and television sector.

Full event details and a complete list of participating buildings will be available early in May.

Doors Open is produced by the City of Toronto in partnership with the broader community.
