Ring in the New Year with a free, festive countdown to 2026 along Toronto’s stunning waterfront.
The celebration kicks off on December 31 at 10 p.m. Enjoy pop-up performances, lively entertainment and a spectacular 10-minute midnight fireworks display lighting up the city skyline and visible from anywhere with a view of Toronto’s inner harbour or can be watched live on YouTube.
There are no fireworks at City Hall or Nathan Phillips Square.

Walk or cycle to the waterfront using York Street, Jarvis Street, Spadina Avenue and Bay Street to access any of the seven waterfront viewing areas for spectacular views of the fireworks display.
The TTC is offering free service on New Year’s Eve from 7 p.m. to 8 a.m. Plan your trip.
The Blue Night Network operates after 3 a.m.
To prevent overcrowding in Union Station following the fireworks, all TTC customers will be directed to line up on Bay Street, south of Front Street. Accessible entry will be maintained on Bay Street and through the Bay Promenade inside the station.
TTC riders are encouraged to consider using alternate stations such as King, Queen, St. Andrew and Osgoode stations to avoid crowds at Union Station.
