Early registration for summer recreation activities at participating Free Centres will begin on May 26 at 7 a.m.

Early Local Registration (ELR) expansion in February and March 2026 added twenty-four additional participating locations, making it easier to register for activities at free community centres in Toronto. As of Summer 2026, most free centres are participating in Early Local Registration.

Residents living near free centres may be able to register one week earlier, ahead of the general registration dates for summer recreation activities.

This registration process applies to registered activities at participating free centres and does not apply to:

  • Drop-In Programs with or without Reservations
  • Adapted and Inclusive or Accessible Recreation Programs
  • Afterschool Recreation Care Programs

      Registration is available:

      • Online at toronto.ca/OnlineReg
      • By phone at 416-396-7378
      • In-person at your participating early registration site

All locations are free recreation centres.

Participating Free Centres with no registered Summer programs (other than Summer Camp) are:

                        • A message in the list area under the map: “This address is not eligible for Early Local Registration.”
                        • Residents who are not eligible for Early Registration will register on the general registration dates.
