Registration for Summer Recreation, CampTO and After School Recreation Care (ARC) is currently open.
Check out what’s on this season, and next, with Toronto’s lineup of recreation and culture programs. From swimming and fitness classes to dance and art courses, there are plenty of ways to stay active and have fun.

Learn a new dance, take music lessons, improve your existing creative skills or just have fun with our arts, hobbies and interests activities. From cooking to painting, our qualified staff will teach you the skills to take your talent to the next level.

CampTO offers children and youth (ages 4 to 16) an opportunity to be active, learn new skills and make fun memories throughout the summer. Registration opened on March 31, there are spaces across the city for July and August.

Learn a new sport or improve your game or skills with our wide range of sports programs.

Whether you want to learn to skate or pick up some hockey skills, there is something for everyone to enjoy participating in on ice activities.

Swimming classes for children, youth, adults and older adults are available for improving swimming skills, getting out of your comfort zone and increasing your knowledge of water safety. Some programs require a caregiver in the water to participate. Older adults may register for any adult swim lessons.

Aquatic Leadership certifications provide the necessary requirements for employment at City of Toronto indoor/outdoor pools, wading pools and beaches.

Many recreation activities are adapted to meet the needs of individuals with disabilities. To ensure a safe, enjoyable and rewarding experience, classes are smaller, additional assistance is provided, and sometimes adaptive equipment is used. To access Adapted and Inclusive Services (AIS) you need an AIS membership.

The City uses Cisco Webex Meetings for Virtual Adapted Recreation programs. Once registered, participants will be sent instructions by email on how to access the program online a few days before the class start date.

Join an online Registration Preparation Session in advance of Fall Recreation registration opening. Become more comfortable using the online system and learn how to create a wish list, register, pay with or without a credit card and manage Welcome Policy.
All sessions run from 7 to 8:30 p.m.
Connect with your community at our “Meet Your Neighbour” events. Enjoy games for all ages, discover local recreation opportunities and learn about fall registration. Everyone is welcome, no registration is required.

Programs fill quickly and often have waiting lists. If you can’t go, withdraw as soon as possible so your spot can be offered to someone else.
If a spot becomes available, you’ll receive an email invitation. Invitations expire after 36 hours and unclaimed spots will be offered to the next person on the waiting list.
Registration for winter activities is anticipated to occur between December 1 to 9 with programs available to browse and plan starting on November 17. Activities start the week of January 4, 2027.
Registration for spring activities is anticipated to occur between February 23 and March 3, 2027 with programs available to browse and plan starting on February 12. Activities start the week of April 3.
Registration for CampTO for the summer for 2027 is anticipated to occur between March 23 to 30, 2027 with programs available to browse and plan starting on February 26. Camps run throughout the Toronto school boards summer break.
Registration for summer activities in 2027 and After School Recreation Care (ARC) for the 2027-28 school year is anticipated to occur between May 25 to June 2, 2027 with programs available to browse and plan starting on May 10.
