Know Who to Call:
9-1-1 Emergency
Contact 911 for any imminent risk or behaviour that poses a significant danger.
- Report individuals at parties who engage in behaviours that pose an imminent risk to life or safety such as:
- Physical exchange (punching, kicking, slapping, etc.)
- Weapons
- Suspicion of human trafficking
- Illegal drug use
- Impaired driving
- People running into the street or spilling onto the road
Please provide the dispatcher with all relevant details, such as the nature of the noise, the address, and any potential risks involved.
Non-Emergency Toronto Police Service
If public safety is compromised but it is not an imminent risk, please call the non-emergency Toronto Police at 416-808-2222
- Report people at parties acting in ways which are compromising public safety
- Underage drinking
- Overcrowding
- Disorderly conduct
- Indecent act with intent to insult or offend any person
- Heated verbal exchange

- Amplified Noise - sound made from an electronic device and such as:
- Amplified music
- Loud voices
- Can include sounds from nightclubs, bars, restaurants, cafes, patios or concerts
- Unreasonable and persistent noise
- Continuously heard for a period of 10 minutes or more
- Heard intermittently over a period of one hour or more
- Does not include sound such as furniture being moved, children playing or people engaging in conversation
