Notice - September 30, 2025 - Due to the labour disruption at Canada Post, the mail-out service of the hard copy for the Solid Waste publications has been temporarily suspended. We will continue to fulfill requests by providing PDF copies via email until the situation is resolved. 

Waste Collection Schedules

• Collection schedules for the following year are distributed via mail from September to December in your utility bill or a separate mailing. Customers subscribed to e-billing for their utility bill are not mailed a collection schedule.
• If you have not received a hard copy of your schedule, you can view and download a copy from the City’s website at toronto.ca/collection-schedule or on the TOwaste app, or request a copy from 311. 

2025 Waste Guide 

• Waste Management Guides are mailed to all residential customers in November-December each year.
• They are also available online: https://www.toronto.ca/services-payments/recycling-organics-garbage/waste-management-guide-collection-schedules/
• Information about what goes in the garbage, Blue Bin recycling and Green Bin organics, what to do with other materials and where to find City Drop-Off Depots is also available online at www.toronto.ca/waste

Note: Single-family residential includes houses and dwellings with 8 units or less.
